Sfânta Treime Hospital Director appointed as Moldexpo coronavirus triage center Director
Oleg Crudu, the current director of the "Sfânta Treime" Municipal Clinical Hospital in Chisinau, has been appointed as director of the Moldexpo Sorting Center. The announcement was made by the Minister of Health, Viorica Dumbrăveanu.
"The Regulation for the organization and operation of the Moldexpo Sorting Center was approved. Oleg Crudu was appointed as director of the Center," Dumbrăveanu said.
She also declared that all public medical-sanitary institutions will dispatch medical personnel to the Sorting Center.
The medical institution, to be opened at the Moldexpo Exhibition Center, will be a triage center for suspects and patients infected with the new coronavirus and will operate during the state of emergency in Moldova, with the possibility of extending this term.
Thus, the Center will have the function to provide medical services to the suspected or confirmed persons with COVID-19 infection, to detect the cases of infection and the subsequent referral of the patients to the public medical-sanitary institutions.
