Andrian Candu, Parliament Speaker, conducted a meeting with the MPs from the People's Assembly of Gagauzia today. During the meeting, they discussed not only the prosperous cooperation between Parliament and Gagauzia region but also the project approval aimed at Gagauzia autonomy.

 

"We would like to extend the cooperation between the Parliament and the People's Assembly of the ATU Gagauzia which benefit our citizens" Andrian Candu, said Parliament Speaker.

 

Andrian Candu reiterated the immensely important cooperation in increasing the well-being of people. Likewise, he invited the People's Assembly members to get involved discussing important projects. 

 

In turn, Vladimir Kissa, chairman of the People's Assembly of the ATU Gagauzia, stressed the autonomy is part of the Republic of Moldova and appreciated Gagauzia members are equitably treated. 

In November 2015, on the initiative made by speaker Andrian Candu, the working group with the People's Assembly of the ATU Gagauzia was created and designed to be the proximity to regional and central authorities. It was, additionally, a mechanism which let Gagauzia be involved in Moldovan modernization projects.
