At least 32 volunteers will be trained on prevention measures for carbon monoxide poisoning
At least 32 senior volunteers from 12 localities will be trained on the prevention and intervention measures in cases of poisoning with carbon monoxide and how to act in case of snow drifts of the access ways.
The training is organized by the Republican Training Centre of Civil Protection and EMergency Situations Service in partnership with Help Age International.
In result, the senior volunteers will obtain knowledge on prevention and intervention measures in cases of poisoning with carbon monoxide and snow drifts, and the protection measures, and the elders will be more informed and protected from the risks of poisoning or blocking in snow banks.
At the end of the trainings, the participants who benefited from this service will receive a certificate of qualification.
Emergency Situations Service supports the volunteering in the prevention of risk situations and is ready to offer support in their training and development.
