Customs Service to work with NACC officers during investigation of corruption case at Sculeni border crossing point

Customs Service has taken notice of the searches conducted at the Sculeni border crossing point today, December 13th, and declared to open an internal investigation on this matter and being ready to work with National Anti-Coruption Officers officers and prosecutors in the case.
Customs Service expresses its willingness to provide the necessary support to investigate the alleged illegalities occurrence of circumstances.

However, to ensure good activity to the mentioned subdivisions, the Director General of the Customs Service, Vitalie Vrabie has ordered the recall of all customs officers from holiday and presentation, within 24 hours, at the concerned establishments.
