The Reintegration deputy prime-minister Gheorghe Bălan has met with the head of the EU delegation to Moldova Pirkka Tapiola.

The officials have exchanged views on the talks regarding the Transnistrian settlement, considering the key issues in the dialogue between Chişinău and Tiraspol.

They have agreed to keep on the constructive dialogue, focusing on issues of common interest and multidimensional support of the settling process.

The European Union backs Moldova in unfurling a series of development projects touching upon people from the Transnistrian region.
