Former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Veaceslav Ceban was detained by the officers of the National Anticorruption Center, being suspected of bribery.

According to media, an employee of the Customs Service has also been detained.

The Interim Director of the State Protection and Guard Service, Anatolie Golea, stated a case was opened as Ceban is an employee of the institution.
