Former policeman ARRESTED for influence peddling

A former policeman from Basarabeasca district has been detained by National Anti-corruption Center for influence peddling. According to prosecutors, the man, now employee of Union of Drivers in Basarabeasca, has received 35- euros for the driving license of a person.
The money were passed under the control of a NACC officer.
If found guilty, the former policeman risks a fine of up to 200,000 lei to six years in prison.
