Doctors from the Emergency Unit of the Ungheni Hospital will have working conditions in line with European standards.

The building has been renovated and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

The section is now more spacious and patients will be sorted according to international codes, in three areas, according to their status.

"The green area, the yellow area and red area for the most serious patients, on-site examination, ultrasonography, colonoscopy," Ungheni Urgent Unity Head Vadim Rusu said.

"The conditions have changed a lot, the space for medical assistance has increased," director of Ungheni district hospital Andrei Alexeev said.

A reanimation room was also set up, where qualified medical help will be provided to patients in serious condition.

The patients appreciated the efforts of the authorities.

"Services will be more qualitative, why is it said that we have entered Europe and that's why it will be good"

The central authorities announce that they have planned modernization works in other hospitals as well.

Renovation of Emergency Unit in Ungheni cost more than three million lei. Annually, 19,000 patients are treated within the institution.
