Moldova announced 70 new cases of coronavirus infection and a death within 24 hours, Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu said in a press briefing on April 1. This is the fifth death since the COVID-19 outbreak began in Moldova. 

According to her, 329 tests were processed today. The total number of confirmed cases is 423.
