PM Pavel Filip held phone conversation with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis
Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip held a phone conversation with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. The officials discussed about Moldovan-Romanian partnership and the possibilities of initiating bilateral cooperation in new areas of mutual interest.
During the dialogue, Pavel Filip said that Moldovan government is concerned about the reforms needed in order to improve the living conditions of citizens, ensuring the functioning of state institutions and economic development of the country.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed its determination to continue the European course of Moldova and carrying out commitments made to development partners.
In turn, Klaus Iohannis said that Romania will continue to support the implementation of measures on the modernization of Moldova, consolidation of democracy and the rule of law.
The officials also exchanged views on the political situation in the two countries. The conversation took place in the context of regular consultations between the leadership of Moldova and Romania.
