Beginning May 7, wearing masks becomes mandatory in public, Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban announced on his Facebook. 

"Considering that the restrictions have been relaxed and Chisinau has become more crowded:

- Starting May 7, wearing the means covering your mouth and nose is mandatory in public. The administrators of the listed premises will not allow the citizens to enter without masks or other respiratory protection accessories.

- Failure to comply with the provisions or measures established poses a danger to public health and will serve as a basis for prosecution of criminal offenses or culprits.

The provisions are found in the decision approved by the Commission for Exceptional Situations of the Municipality. ", Ceban wrote.
