14 Moldovan institutions to receive modern medical devices
14 medical institutions from Moldova will receive video systems for colonoscopy, with all components and accessories necessary for their functioning. The medical devices of high-performance will allow the diagnosing and conducting the curative and operative procedures for the patients suffering of anemia, intestinal diseases or rectal and colon cancer.
This kind of modern medical devices will be received by the Republican Hospital, Emergency Medicine Institute, Republican Diagnosis Center, Municipal Hospital No.1, Municipal Hospital "Holy Trinity", and the district hospitals from Edinet, Soroca, Balti, Ungheni, Orhei, Causeni, Comrat, Hancesti, and Cahul.
The chiefs of these medical institutions are responsible for the preventive maintenance, correct usage and the verification of the nominated medical devices according to the legislation in force. Also they have to ensure the training of the medical staff who will use the colonoscopy video systems.
The colonoscopy video systems were received in 2015 through a grant of Non-Project type between the Government of Japan and Moldovan Government. The price of these medical devices reaches to approximately 17 million lei.
In the beginning, they were intended for the Screening centers in Balti and Cahul. But, because of lack of financial sources necessary for the repairing of buildings and of the medical staff trained in their correct usage, these medical devices were placed in the Institute of Oncology until present.
