State financed surgeries. The story of child born with congenital heart defects

Children who were born with congenital heart defects will benefit of surgeries from the account of the National Health Insurance Company. A project in this regard will be launched by Swedish cardiologist Petru Liuba and his colleague of Moldova Ion Popovici, supported by the Ministry of Health.
In the future, the Ministry of Health is planning to prepare a whole team of specialists prepared for such surgeries.
Minimal invasive intervention pathology allows treatment without surgery.
Such an intervention has supported Roman Ceban, an 8-year-old child who was born with a congenital heart disease.
"I was tired and I was not quite so energetic as before. There I was scared but excited me even more" , said the patient.
Roman's parents say they were ready to go abroad in order to perform the surgery. An acquaintance told them, however, that such surgeries can also be performed in our country as well:
"I think it came from God because that's when Mr. Petru Liuba came and performed this surgery."
"The greater joy for a parent is to get him to surgery at 4 o'clock and see hi at 7 o'clock eating healthy."
Health Minister Ruxandra Glavan says that soon the children in our country will benefit of such surgeries free of charge.

The price for such surgery is on average 90 thousand lei. Every year in our country, over 400 babies are born with congenital heart defects.
