Moldova confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus infection, bringing the total number of patients to 23. The first infected-child case was also diagnosed, Moldovan Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu announced today. 

"I reiterate persons who return from the coronavirus-hit countries stay home under quarantine. Be responsible and honest", the health minister said. 

According to President Igor Dodon, all the public places will be closed, with the exception of pharmacies, grocery stores, PECO stations, and banks. They will operate in a special regime.
