Moldova's FEE signs partnership agreement with Belarus's Commission for Standardization, Metrology and Certification
The Energy Efficiency Fund (FEE) of Moldova and Commission for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Belarus will collaborate in the field of energy efficiency, control over the quality of the works and the quality of the materials. A partnership agreement in this regard was signed today in Chisinau.
The signed document aims to develop cooperation in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and alternative fuels. The two institutions aim to stimulate the implementation of these projects, identify opportunities for project financing and joint plans.
Moreover, the entities will exchange information on state strategies in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy saving and alternative energy sources, as well as support mechanisms in the areas mentioned.
Experts will share experience in intelligent energy consumption, renewable energy use, energy monitoring systems, and more.
Following signing of the Partnership Agreement, Sergiu Corin, interim executive director of the Energy Efficiency Fund, said:
"This collaboration will ensure the fulfillment of tasks and energy reform, and the experience of the Belarusian partners will be beneficial for Moldova and will be best practices in the field ".
In his turn, Chairman of the Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Belarus, Victor Nazarenco, said:
"The cooperation will increase the identification of the opportunities to share funding for the implementation of projects in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency, of alternative fuels types. "
The Partnership Agreement was signed during the official visit of the Belarus delegation headed by President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The Belarus's Delegation will participate in the Moldova-Belarus Economic Forum for Interregional Cooperation, which will take place today in Chisinau.
PUBLIKA reminds that the Energy Efficiency Fund signed the Memorandum Understanding and Co-operation with the Covenant of Mayors Demonstration Projects EU funded (CoMDeP), the Memorandum of Understanding with the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in Ukraine and the Memorandum of Cooperation on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy with the Ministry Georgia's energy.
